Gen-You Book Bag Giveaway
Gen-You Accounts are a great way for any teenager that is 14-17 years old that would like to establish their first savings or checking account without a parent or legal guardian! The Gen-You Account allows teenagers to gain firsthand experience on managing their own finances. Providing our youth with the proper tools will allow them to become what we like to call, Financially Fit!
During the month of August, every teenager that visits one of our (11) branches and opens a Gen-You Account will earn a Limited Edition Gen-You Book Bag!*
To open a Gen-You Account you will need the following items:
Florida State ID
Valid School ID
*To qualify for a Gen-You Account, student must live, work, worship or attend school in Miami-Dade County. To open the account the student must provide a valid FL State ID or State Driver’s License and a valid School ID. If the student does not have a FLID or FLDL, a US Passport can be accepted as Primary ID. Student must provide documentation from School District (Schedule of Courses or Report Card) to confirm student’s Physical Address. If the student does not have a valid School ID, a US Passport, Social Security Card or Birth Certificate must be provided as a secondary ID. In addition, student must also provide either a letter from the school confirming enrollment, a schedule of courses or a report card printed from MDPS website, or if home schooled, a verification letter from Florida Department of Education.
