Celebrating Our Members: Fun, Community, and Memories Made!
Last month, we hosted our highly anticipated Member Appreciation Event at our South branch — and it turned out to be an unforgettable day filled with fun, laughter, and a true sense of community.
From the moment the doors opened, the energy was contagious. One of the highlights of the day was our scavenger hunt, where members explored different areas and engaged in activities. Those who completed the hunt were entered into our raffle, and we’re excited to share that we had many lucky winners! Congratulations to everyone who participated — it was amazing to see so much enthusiasm and teamwork.
Throughout the day, guests enjoyed delicious treats like popcorn, hot dogs, snow cones, and cookies, the perfect fuel for all the fun activities happening around the event!
We were also thrilled to welcome many local vendors who promoted their businesses and connected with our community. Special thanks to LA Fitness, Rent-A-Center, Caro Brazil, Cellular Solutions, DSW Shoes, Kids Club Academy, National Karate Academy/Hipnotic Dance Studio, Prestige Power Washing, Protein Delight, T-Mobile, and Beleza Chic Salon for being a part of this incredible day. It was wonderful to see so many members discover new favorites and show their support for local entrepreneurs.
For our younger guests, our Gen-You table was a huge hit! Kids had the chance to decorate their own tote bags, bringing home a personalized souvenir they proudly created themselves.
Adding to the excitement, we had a lively Zumba session where members danced, laughed, and got moving together. The energy on the dance floor was contagious and brought even more smiles to the day.
We ended the celebration with a heartfelt award ceremony, where we recognized and honored our members for their continued trust and support. Congratulations to this year’s honorees — Steven Lopez, Dorinda Luzardo, George Wright, Johanna Ralsten-Cox, and Dr. Bryan Stewart. Celebrating these amazing individuals was a true reminder of what makes our community so special.
