DCFCU: Investing Over $100,000 in Our Community
At Dade County Federal Credit Union, giving back isn’t just something we do—it’s part of who we are. Our commitment to strengthening South Florida communities goes beyond financial services. This year, we proudly donated over $100,000 to local organizations that make a real difference in people’s lives.
We started the day by contributing $25,000 to Be Strong International, an award-winning organization that empowers individuals and families through holistic education and relationship-building programs. Next, we donated $30,000 to Branches, which provides essential support and resources to help community members achieve financial stability and life-changing opportunities.
Our commitment to education continued with a $15,000 donation to Urgent Academy, a unique learning community that fosters creativity and cultural awareness in students. Finally, we were honored to give $45,000 to Touching Miami with Love, an organization that has served the Overtown and West Homestead communities for over 30 years, providing year-round programs for nearly 400 children and youth.
These contributions reflect our promise to invest in programs that promote education, financial empowerment, and stronger families. Together, we’re building a brighter future for South Florida.
